5º CEIP TIERNO GALVÁN: "FIRST FIVE: AN INTERVIEW WITH OUR FOUNDING FATHERS"

Obra en inglés, interpretada por los alumnos de quinto del CEIP Tierno Galván. Se trata de una obra histórica y de carácter informativo, en formato de programa de televisión en el que situados en la actualidad, se da un salto en el tiempo y se realizan 4 entrevistas a los 5 padres fundadores de los EEUU, a saber, Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Madison & Monroe, lo que nos permitirá conocer un poco más la historia de los EEUU de América y como comenzó todo. 

In this reader’s theater, some news reporters interview the first five presidents from the USA. These presidents were involved in many activities from drafting the first laws of our country to writing the Declaration of Independence. They are known as Founding Fathers because of their early activity organizing the country.

George Washington:
President Washington was president for EIGHT years.
He was a GENERAL in the army. He was a leader in the REVOLUTIONARY War.
 
John Adams: 
President Adams was in office for FOUR years. He wanted to be a JUDGE. His SON was also president.
 
Thomas Jefferson:
President Jefferson helped write the DECLARATION of INDEPENDENCE One of his favorite lines was “All Men are CREATED EQUAL.”
 
James Madison:
President Madison helped write parts of the CONSTITUTION . His wife, Dolley , was a charming person. He was president during the War of 1812.
 
James Monroe:
President Monroe started during the “Era of GOOD FEELINGS .” He established the Monroe DOCTRINE.
